Underrepresentation in scientific research is a huge problem. It creates a lack of diversity in the perspectives and approaches taken, which can limit the potential for breakthrough discoveries and innovations. Addressing underrepresentation in scientific research is crucial to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to ensuring that the most promising research is being done by the most talented individuals, regardless of their background.

 

Bring to Light is our effort to support underrepresented researchers in Switzerland by creating one film per year free of charge. The project is a product of our desire to support progress in academia through greater diversity and greater representation.
